v2.3, 8/11/21
Many additions have been made within the past month.
- New Facebook & YouTube Banners
- New Sponsor (DFW Roofing Pro)
- Added a full Terms of Service for DCW Sponsorships and a few policies. You can view these in the Sponsorship Opportunities tab. (These were added prior to August 7th)
- Ads are back on DCW's website due to our personal decision to add them back. You may notice them. You are encouraged to use an AdBlocker if you do not like seeing ads.
- SMS Messaging Tab to be removed soon from DCW Website.
- Denton County Weather is OFFICIALLY in the YouTube Partner Program!
- Many new YouTube series like Watching The Tropics and Seconds Forecasts have been added.
- New 'Patreon' tier has been added for those who are looking to make a one-time donation or have an extremely generous monthly donation towards DCW.

- Added 'This Month' section temporarily.
- Changed 'Donate' section to be named 'Support DCW!'
- Changed lots of wording and added 'Patreon Benefits' section to the 'Support DCW!' page.
- Home page now shows 'Today' as the last tab presented. Was previously 'Merchandise' which was discontinued in May of 2021. DCW still offers merchandise sales by email/messages.
- Archiving 'Your Media' section soon.
- Patreons can now enjoy EXCLUSIVE Newsletters & EXCLUSIVE Weather Video Series by DCW soon! More information will be coming out very shortly. To become a Patreon, go to the 'Support DCW!' tab!
- Deleted the 'Providing Weather for YOUR BUSINESS' page.
MEDIA UPDATES:
- Changed Facebook Banner back to DCW's logo
- Changed Facebook button from 'Supporter' to 'Learn More' to link the Denton County Weather website directly.
v2.11, 7/12/21 (Mini-update)
This update is very basic which is why the update from 7/11/21 is still labeled 'Latest update'.
- 'Today' section added under the 'Weather' tab. I will attempt to update the page daily and when needed.
- 'Severe Weather' section removed from the 'Weather' tab to prevent clutter. Will make the section again when it's needed.

- Added NEW 'YOUR Vacation Forecast' tab under 'Weather'. (Huge Update)
- Added Patreon links in parts of the website where sponsorships were before. DCW is currently not sponsored for July.
- 'Donate' section reworded.
- 'FAQ' section reworded.
- Newsletters have returned! Signup under the 'Information' tab, click on 'Newsletter Signup'.
v2.0, 5/11/21 (MAJOR UPDATE)
- We have removed 'School Closings' sub-category
- We have removed 'Polls' category
- We are removing the 'Store' on 5/12/21. The last day to purchase anything will be 5/11/21.
- SMS Messaging has been discontinued to focus on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and our website.
- Donate Page has been renamed from 'Donate Today!' and has also been revamped.
- The 'Home' page has been changed to include only enabled pages on our website.
- The 'Media' section now only shows YOUR MEDIA from 2020. 2021 media is planned to be added soon.
- There is a plan to open a mini-shop with small, personalized DCW apparel that is under $10 in the future.
- 'Cart' will be removed starting 5/12/21.

- Store added two items back after a bug.
- Ads lessened again after a glitch. No more than 2 ads per page. Usually only 0 or 1.
