TROPICS UPDATE: Here is the latest updated track of Tropical Depression Cristobal, which will redevelop into a Tropical Storm by tomorrow night.

There is a chance we see Eastern/Southeastern Texas impacted by this storm, however, it is uncertain which track it will track. The computer models that tend to predict tropical systems better is the GFS & GDPS (Red and Yellow tracks). However, we have seen models that tend to not be as accurate, step up, and are accurate. I am leaning towards one of the 2 blue tracks that I put down (which are other models), however, I cannot rule out seeing a different track.

If Texas is impacted, it would likely be rainfall totals from 1 to 3 inches, and maybe some spotty wind damage areas, especially the coastal region. Wind damage will be more scattered/widespread IF THE EYE does come closer to Texas, which doesn't seem overly likely as of now. I will continue to post more updates on our website (www.dentoncountyweather.com) and on our Facebook & Instagram pages.
