Snow Tuesday? Two Shots at Snow in 3-Day Timeframe

Two shots at snow in December is very uncommon for DFW, but we have TWO CHANCES that look somewhat promising in a 3-day timespan.

Sunday, bordering counties of Texas/Oklahoma all have a chance for snow totals anywhere from flurries up to 2", but nothing is expected to stick or accumulate. Tuesday could be a different story. Tuesday Night seems to be our next shot at snow, especially for areas closer to Sherman, TX.

Tuesday night, rain is possible in DFW, especially Northern DFW, which COULD change over to a mix of rain & snow. Any snow is NOT expected to accumulate in North Texas, since the ground will be around 34-38 in most areas.

Not all models agree on snow totals, so this is prediction is based off of 6 different models combined.

It is likely that areas closer to Sherman, TX, see a better chance of some sort of snow, mixed in with cold rain. No freezing rain is expected, so commute Wednesday morning should be fine.
