A tornado ripped through Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Kentucky last night. This tornado traveled approximately 250 miles and went through four states. It has not yet been determined yet if the tornado was on the ground for all 250 miles, however, it was at least on the ground for 150 miles without lifting off the ground.

NTXWC is now beginning to see and receive photos from the damage across the four states impacted by one tornado, which went through four states. This tornado had the largest impact on Mayfield, Kentucky, which was leveled by this tornado. These pictures from Eric Graves show how badly Mayfield was leveled.

If you look closely, there are several cars on the right that were likely lifted up into the air for hundreds, if not, thousands of feet. Not a single leaf on a tree is to be seen, and no homes can be seen from the naked eye. This is how large and devastating this tornado really was.

The NWS is currently surveying all of the tornadoes that occurred during yesterday's severe weather outbreak. It is estimated that over 30 tornadoes touched down and over 50 deaths occurred in Kentucky alone. It is estimated that over 100 people lost their life to the tornadoes and hundreds are still missing.

Here is the approximate path of the tornado. It is unknown if it stayed on the ground for all of the 250 miles.

Other damage includes an Amazon facility in Edwardsville, Illinois. This Amazon facility's roof collapsed. As of now, it is confirmed that two people died from the roof collapse. It is unknown if anyone was injured, but dozens were trapped inside last night but have since been rescued. Several people still remain unaccounted for at the Amazon Facility. Some cars were also flown hundreds of feet away from the Amazon facility's parking lot in result of a tornado.
