The National Weather Service confirmed that the Salado, TX, tornado was a very strong EF-3 tornado. The tornado had maximum sustained winds of 165 MPH. If it had wind speeds any higher than 165, it would have been considered an EF-4 tornado. The tornado caused catastrophic damage to those who live West of Salado. The tornado was on the ground for 32 minutes from 5:34 to 6:06pm. The tornado began near the Bell/Williamson County line and ended at the Stillhouse Hollow Lake. The tornado was at least 13 miles long and two dozen injuries were reported. The radar imagery below shows the debris ball when the tornado was West of Salado.  Do you OWN A BUSINESS?
