[ALERT] Severe Weather Possible for Wednesday - May 13th, 2020

5/12/2020

Comments

A Severe Weather Outbreak is possible for Western and Central TX, as well as Western OK. This event could produce large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes. This threat may linger into Western DFW between 10PM to 2AM. Storms should weaken drastically by 11PM.

DFW is in a low-mod risk of Severe Storms, due to the fact that the line of storms that forms in Western Texas will likely weaken before it arrives in DFW. I do not anticipate a whole lot of hail, as the initial supercells will carry hail in Western Texas. I cannot rule out some damaging straightline winds, and a very low brief tornado risk.

Storm threat should expire around 2-3AM. We will keep you posted on our Facebook page and Instagram throughout the day.
